About the teacher
Ms. Joyce is passionate and determined to educate those that are willing to learn piano. She offers private and group lessons at her own studio, in the area of Southeast Aurora. Ms. Joyce provides lessons for beginners as young as four year olds, intermediate, and advanced students who want to continue their studies in college level. Ms. Joyce has a long background in classical piano and have worked as an accompanist for more than twenty years at churches. She taught piano for ten years as a RCM certified piano teacher. She also has earned Masters in Education from University of Colorado at Denver and continues to work in search for more approachable and innovative ways in educating her students. Her way of teaching is fun, nurturing, and brings out the most practical ways that are suitable for each of her student.

Benefits
Students can utilize RCM curriculum and resources that are designed to develop overall skills in piano. Students have opportunity to take exams and be assessed for each level and benchmarked in relation to international standard. Students earn certificates when passing each level and be able to use this verifications to further their career.
Joyce piano studio aims for every student to be well rounded musicians by having opportunity to touch base in every skill. These will include technical skills, sight reading, aural skills, music literacy, and creativeness. All these elements will be explored through every lesson and customized and tailored to student's age, their levels, and learning pace.
